209. The sides of a rectangle are 23 cm and 15 cm. Find the distances from the intersection of the diagonals to the sides of the rectangle.

Знайти: OM, OK.

Розв'язання:

△BAD (∠A = 90°):

OM — середня лінія;

OM = ${\displaystyle \frac{1}{2}}$AD = ${\displaystyle \frac{1}{2}}$ · 23 = 11,5 (см).

△ABC (∠B = 90°):

OK — середня лінія;

OK = ${\displaystyle \frac{1}{2}}$AB = ${\displaystyle \frac{1}{2}}$ · 15 = 7,5 (см).

Відповідь: 11,5 см; 7,5 см.
